Meeting & assistance on arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport & transfer to Hotel. Afternoon visit Kathmandu city & Swoyambhu. In this tour visit the 17th Century Durbar complex & Hanuman Dhoka, temple of living goddess, Narayan Mandir, Maiju Dewal, & Kasthmandap a wooden temple built from a single tree, Shiva Paravati temple, great Bell & Drum, Seto Bhairav, Kal Bhairav & Taleju Temple. Later proceed to Swoyambhunath one of the oldest Buddhist stupa overlooking the entire Katmandu valley also known as the Monkey Temple. Overnight at Hotel.
Breakfast at Hotel. Morning drive to Pokhara (200kms west of Kathmandu), the lakeside resort valley of Pokhara. From here see a very close view of Mt. Annapurna (8091meters), Fish Tail (6994 meters) Dhaulagiri (8167 meters) & Himalchuli (7893 meters). This is also an ideal place for relaxation & outdoor activities such as swimming, boating on the Phewa Lake, poney treks, & short hikes & cycling. Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.
Sarangkot is a 1,600m high hill situated on the northern shore of Phewa lake. On the way to Sarangkot you'll pass through Schima-Catonopsis forest and there is a lot of opportunity to watch birds. It's a 2 hour walk from Phewa lake. On reaching the hill, you can find good hotels and a tower on the top of the hill from where you can view the Pokhara Valley and also the wide range of Annapurna. Breakfast at Hotel. AM: Half day tour of Pasupatinath, Bouddhanath & Bhadgaon city. Visit Pashupati Nath area where you can see famous Lord Shiva temple & Hindu cremation ground. Though you are not allowed to go inside the temple as it is strictly for Hindus only, you can clearly see the temple & the activities from the eastern bank of the Bagmati River. The two-tier golden roof & silver doors of the temple are famous all over the worlmd. Later visit Bouddhanath, the 2500 years old Buddhist stupa In the Valley built in 5th century with four pairs of eyes of Lord Buddha in four cardinal directions keeping an eternal watch over the people & their doings. You will find Buddhist pilgrims from Tibet going round the stupa spinning the prayer wheels. Later visit Bhadgaon another Newar city founded in the 9th century. Visit the ancient gateway, Durbar Square the Royal Residential Quarter of Bhupatindra Malla, famous five storied temple of Nyatapola in Pagoda style, Batsala temple, Bhairavnath temple, Duttatraya temple, Pujari Math & Palace of 55 windows PM: free for optional tour
